Commissioned by 
as a Christmas present for 
: two of their ATLA OCs. That's earthbender Kouji on the left, and waterbender Torako on the right. And they're both Fire Nation, in case you were wondering.
Kouji I have doodled before and had an excellent reference to age up from, but Torako only had text descriptions to work with, which was new for me and involved a fair amount of extra prep work. So I'm a big fan of how she came out in the end, especially her hairstyle and jewelry.

Why does that female OC, who is supposed to be a waterbender (something that in the Fire Nation is as rare as an airbender) wear Fire Nation noble attire, even though that OC would most likely be a peasant and a non-bender, realistically speaking?
